I’ve always enjoyed spicy foods, hot sauces and challenging how far I can push my tastebuds, but it was only recently that I decided to start growing my own chilis. As of the launch of this and the writing of this quick bio, this is only my second year of doing so. As such, I am anything but an expert on the subject matter.

In fact, this site really came about as a way for me to document my process and growth as a hobbyist chili gardner. Throughout this site you’ll read about the trials and issues I encounter, the celebrations of the harvest and the pain flavors I will ultimately put myself through.
