2024 Pepper Season: July 1st Update

Sometimes life just gets in the way of things. A layoff, unemployment and eventually a new career opportunity with great people and well, things get thrown into utter chaos. That would be why there has been a lack of updates on the site this Summer.

It’s been three months since the last post regarding our little pepper plants and things, as expected at this point in the season, are starting to take off. Nearly all of the plants have little fruit on them. All but one is flowering – the Peppa Dew is a massive plant, but no blossoms as of yet. Some of the plants are producing peppers that already look downright diabolical.

We’re still quite some time off before we start harvesting, but the plants are already ahead of the 2023 season at this point in the year. Mother Nature has also been a bit stingy with her nourishing rains, but we are making do with light watering here and there. And, that’s about it for now. Hopefully, we’ll have more frequent updates as the rest of the season moves along.
